New Delhi: With growing air pollution in the country, technology giant Xiaomi launched an air filtering mask here on Thursday.
The mask named Mi AirPOP PM2.5 Anti-Pollution Mask is priced at Rs 249 for a pack of 2 and the company claims that this can last a month of use.
The company already sells Mi Air Purifiers here.
It can filter PM2.5 up to 99 per cent. The company states that the mask is effective in protecting users from seasonal haze, dust storms, cold, flu pathogens, allergenic pollen, grease, smoke, and exhaust.
It has 4 layers. The primary layer blocks large particles while the electrostatic micro-filter blocks out 0.3-micrometre particles. There is also a useful water-permeable layer that helps reduce vapour buildup on your face and glasses. The 3D design adjusts according to your face.

The mask is available on mi.com. Xiaomi has not specified if this will be a flash sale or regular one. If you can’t get your hands on this, 3M, Dettol, Honeywell and many other reputed brands also make such anti-pollution masks.
