At the Smart Living 2020 event, Xiaomi launched its latest generation fitness wearable, Band 4, at a price of Rs 2,299.
The Mi Band 4 features a nearly 40 per cent bigger 0.95-inch colour AMOLED 2.5D touch display with 120×240 pixels resolution. However, the size of the overall device remains the same and the Mi Band 3 straps can also be used in this.
It has a six-axis accelerometer sensor, which helps track activities like cycling, swimming, exercise, running and walking. It can identify a few swimming strokes, such as freestyle, mixed-style, breaststroke, backstroke and butterfly.
It has 512KB of RAM, 16MB storage and is powered by a 135mAh battery, which can last up to 20 days. The charging time is less than 2 hours, the company claims. It has a built-in microphone for voice commands. It uses Bluetooth 5.0 BLE.
The new tracker will be available at 12 noon from September 19 on Amazon India, mi.com, and Mi Home Stores.
Xiaomi launched a smart water purifier and its biggest 65-inch TV at the same event.
