Xiaomi on Tuesday launched a new ultra-portable laptop in China. The 12.5-inch with Intel i5 and core m3 processor options weighs just 1.05 kg, making it lighter than the Apple Macbook Air (1.25 kg).
Prices of Mi Notebook Air:
Core m3/ 128GB SSD – RMB 3,599 (approximately Rs 38,400)
Core m3/ 256GB SSD – RMB 3,999 (approximately Rs 42,700)
Core i5/ 256GB SSD – RMB 4,299 (approximately Rs 45,900)
The metal-bodied laptop comes with 4GB RAM. It is available in gold and silver colour options. The battery can be recharged to 50 per cent in just 50 minutes. There are three Harman speakers with DTS surround sound. The keyboard is backlit and has a multi-touch trackpad.
It will go on sale at 10 AM CST on March 28 in China where it also sells the 13.3 inch version.
It is unclear when Xiaomi will bring its notebooks to India.
