Bhubaneswar: Following detection of four corona positive cases in Ganjam in the last few days, a team consisting of Director, Family Welfare, Bijay Kumar Panigrahi and Scientist, RMRC-Bhubaneswar, Jaysingh Khatri has been deputed to the district to supervise surveillance and containment measures.
According to Odisha Health and Family Welfare Department’s Tuesday notification, Dean and Principal of MKCG Medical College and Hospital, Berhampur, will be part of the team.
The other members:
A Professor from Pulmonary Medicine/ Medicine Department;
A Professor/ Associate Professor of Anaesthesiology Department;
A Professor/ Associate Professor from Microbiology Department
Two faculty members of Community Medicine Department
They will strengthen surveillance, contact tracing and testing as well as the medical preparedness, the notification added.
