Besides Muduli, 14 sarpanchs and samiti members and hundreds of BJD workers joined the saffron party.
Similarly, as many as 148 leaders and workers of BJD and Congress from Jajpur also jumped to BJP on the day. They included several present and former sarpanchs. Led by former sarpanch Dilip Kumar Mohanty, they joined the BJP in the party office here.
