Bhubaneswar: Odia movie ‘Sapna Tie–A Dream’ has been selected to be screened at Jeypore International Film Festival (JIFF).
Produced and directed by Milan Dash, the film is based on differently-abled children. It showcases their thought processes, aspirations and society’s behaviour towards them.
Child artist Maguni Patra has played the central role of Babloo, a differently-abled child, in the film.
The lyrics and dialouges are penned by Bhabatosh Mohanty and Prem Ananda. Manimala Dash has written the script and Babi Islam is the choreographer.
Besides ‘Sapna Tie–A Dream’ , three more films with an Odia connections have been selected to be screened at JIFF.
These are Odia boy Sattwik Mohanty’s Hindi feature film ‘Ranchi Diaries’, sound engineer Subash Sahoo’s art movie ‘The Soundman Mangesh Desai’ and the Sushant Panda directorial ‘W’.
