Bhubaneswar: A mild earthquake was experienced in parts of Kandhamal district of Odisha on Friday night.
According to the District Emergency Officer (DEO), the earthquake of a magnitude of 3.2 in Richter scale was felt for 5 to 6 seconds at 9.50 pm.
There were reports of the tremor being experienced by people of Baliguda, Raikia, K Nuagaon and Daringbadi tehsils of the district.
However, no loss of life or damage to properties was reported from any part of the district, the DEO stated in a statement.
