Kandhamal: An earthquake of mild intensity reportedly hit Kandhamal district on Wednesday.
The earthquake measuring 3.2 on the Richter Scale was recorded around 11:33 am. No loss of life or damage to property was reported in the incident.
The epicenter of the quake was 19.20 latitude north and 84.10 longitude east in the district and about 100 km in Northeasterly direction of Rayagada seismological observatory and 280 km in South-westerly direction of Bhubaneswar.
Tremors were also felt in Daringbadi.
