‘Milta Rahe Pyaar’, Says Avneet Kaur In Reply To Question Linked To Virat Kohli ‘Liking’ Her Picture

Mumbai: Avneet Kaur, who was in the news a few months ago after cricket superstar Virat Kohli accidentally liked a picture of hers on social media, faced questions related to that episode at the recent trailer launch of her upcoming film ‘Love in Vietnam’.

Asked about the love she receives from celebrities, she blushed and said, ‘let love keep pouring in.”

“Itna pyaar milta hai aapko. Bade bade celebrities bhi aapki picture ko like karte hain, follow karte hain, subscribe karte hain aapko. Itna pyaar milta hai aapko. Kuchh kahengi unn sabke liye? (You are loved so much. Popular celebrities like your pictures, follow you and subscribe your channels. You receive so much love. Please tell us something about it),” someone asked Avneet.

The actor blushed and replied, “Milta rahe pyaar, bas. Aur kya bolun main. (May they keep loving me. What else can I say?)”

In May, Kohli ‘liked’ a picture of Avneet, in which she was dressed in a crop top paired with a wrap-around mini skirt.

In no time, the post became viral and Kohli was brutally trolled by netizens.

Avneet, on the other hand, garnered 1 million new followers and 12 new brand deals.

Kohli later shared a long clarification note on his Instagram story and blamed his social media handle’s algorithm for the ‘accidental’ like.

“I’d like clarify that while clearing my feed, it appears the algorithm may have mistakenly registered an interaction. There was absolutely no intent behind it. I request that no unnecessary assumptions be made. Thank you for your understanding,” Virat posted.

Avneet is awaiting the release of ‘Love in Vietnam’, co-starring Shantanu Maheshwari, Vietnamese actor Kha Ngan and Farida Jalal.
