Paralakhemundi: The driver of a mini truck sustained minor injuries after the vehicle overturned near Kendu ghat near Ramgarh under Mohana police limits in Odisha’s Gajapati district in the early morning on Tuesday.
Reports said the mini truck carrying about 900 poultry was on the way to Gunupur in Rayagada district from Berhampur when the incident took place.
While about 200 poultry were crushed, some people were seen taking away live poultry from the broken cages.
Police later arrived at the spot and admitted the injured driver at the Community Health Centre (CHC) at Mohana.
