Berhampur: Miniature artist Satya Narayan Maharana has broken his own record of carving smallest Shiva Linga and Shiva idol in stone.
Satya, who has 25 world records to his credit, carved Shiva Linga with a height of 2 mm and Shiv idol 5 mm on the occasion of Maha Shivratri.
Satya eyes on another world record with his creations. “I am hopeful of breaking my previous India Book of Records,” he said.
His last record of miniature idols were Shiva Linga of a height of 7 mm and Shivs idol of 1.4 cm in 2021. His name had entered the India Book of Records for these creations.
Satya also created a sand sculpture on Russia attack on Ukraine with a message “We want peace. Not war”. Appealing for end of the war, he said peace must prevail in the world.
