Berhampur: Miniature artist Satya
Maharana created a sand sculpture of Lata Mangeshkar Neelakantha Nagar 2nd Line in Bijipur here after the demise of the versatile singer in a hospital in Mumbai broke in the media.
He said he used two truckloads of sand to create the sculpture of 7 feet in length and it took him two hours to complete his creation.
Maharana also carved a picture of the late singer on a leaf of ‘Peepal’ tree.
The 36-year-old artist has set 25 international and national records for creating smallest artifacts in different mediums.
