Khurda: The Special Task Force (STF) of Odisha Crime Branch arrested dreaded criminal Nalia Kanhalsingh alias Saroj in an illegal mining case and forwarded him to SDJM court, Khurda, on Thursday.
According to police sources, Saroj was nabbed from Kumarabasta village under Khurda Town police limits following a raid on Wednesday evening.
Several cases like illegal possession of arms and extortion pending against him. He was also actively involved in illegal mining activities, the sources added.
