Cuttack: Panchayati Raj Minister Pratap Jena visited the Secondary Board High School at Choudwar to mark the Teachers’ Day.
Jena who has adopted the institution instructed the school authorities to expedite the 5T (Team work, Technology, Transparency, Transformation and Time limit) principles through the Cuttack Municipal Corporation here.
“Renovations have been taken up under the High School Transformation programme of the state government. We have adopted resolutions suggested at a meeting for the school development,” said the minister.
Reviewing the overall progress of the school, Jena ordered the District Collector to focus on sports facilities, horticulture and other infrastructure development of the institution.
Chaudhwar-Cuttack MLA Soubhic Biswal, District Magistrate Bhavani Shankar Chaini, CMC Commissioner Ananya Das and alumni of the school attended the event.
