Jharsuguda: It took Jharsuguda Police just over a day to solve the murder case of a blind person.

The case was registered on July 3 at Belpahar police station as PS Case No. 128.

The investigating team acted on technical evidence, CCTV analysis and human intelligence to identify those involved in the crime withing 36 hours of registration of the case.

Demonstrating the effectiveness of scientific investigation and coordinated policing, two adults have been arrested and one Child in Conflict with Law (CCL) has been apprehended in connection with the murder case.

Police have also recovered the weapons allegedly used in the murder.

The swift and prompt response of Jharsuguda Police will help ensure offenders are brought to justice without delay.
