Balasore: The RPF has arrested a minor boy for allegedly throwing stones at Vande Bharat Express train while two other youths are absconding in Odisha’s Balasore district.
According to sources, the Railway Protection Force (RPF) was informed stone throwing at the train near Haripur level crossing in the district on Sunday. The RPF launched an investigation and identified the three persons from a CCTV footage near the station.
The RPF personnel arrested one of the three persons, who is a minor boy. He belongs to Dandaharipur village under Soro police limits of Bahanaga block in the district. He was sent to a juvenile correctional home in Angul on Monday.
The two other persons involved in the incident are absconding. The RPF has launched a manhunt to trace them. The three persons were repeatedly pelting stones at trains, the sources said.
