Balasore: The RPF has arrested a minor boy for allegedly throwing stones at Vande Bharat Express train while two other youths are absconding in Odisha’s Balasore district.
According to sources, the Railway Protection Forc
e (RPF) was informed stone throwing at the train near Haripur level crossing in the district on Sunday. The RPF launched an investigation and identified the three persons from a CCTV footage near the station.
The RPF personnel arrested one of the three persons, who is a minor boy. He belongs to Dandaharipur village under Soro police limits of Bahanaga block in the district. He was sent to a juvenile correctional home in Angul on Monday.
The two other persons involved in the incident are absconding. The RPF has launched a manhunt to trace them. The three persons were repeatedly pelting stones at trains, the sources said.
