Rourkela: In a tragic incident, a minor boy drowned in Koel river in Rourkela district while performing Chhath Puja rituals on Friday.
The deceased was identified as Bramhanand Pandey (15), a resident of Bandhamunda.
The incident took place when Pandey was taking a holy dip along with his family members. He went deep in water, while bathing and drowned, reports said.
