Minor Boy Succumbs To Snakebite In Odisha’s Balasore

Balasore: A 14-year-old boy succumbed to snakebite in Odisha’s Balasore district on Saturday.

The deceased was identified as Manoranjan Behera of Manishiali village of Khaira block in Balasore.

Manoranjan was bit by a snake while sleeping at home last night when the doctors declared him dead.

Meanwhile, family members of the minor boy called a sorcerer to revive the deceased, said sources.

They vacated the premises with the body after two hours after multiple attempts to bring Manoranjan back to life, the sources added.
