Jharsuguda: A five-year-old boy has tested corona positive in Jharsuguda town.
The boy and his family had returned from Agra to their house in Mangal Bazaar of the town on May 16. After the boy tested corona positive, all his family members have been kept under home quarantine for 28 days, said Jharsuguda DM.
As the whole family is under the supervision of a medical team, there is no need to declare Mangal Bazaar as containment zone, said Jharsuguda Collector Saroj Samal.
Earlier, two positive cases were detected in the district and both have recovered. The first case was reported on April 29 while the second case was reported on May 2.
