Minor Girl Ends Life After Intimate Moment Video Goes Viral

Nabarangpur: A minor girl allegedly committed suicide after a video of her intimate moments with a youth was leaked on social media.

The body of the girl was found hanging from a tree in a forest near Mundagaon village under Jharigaon block in Nabarangpur district.

The victim’s father has lodged a complaint at Jharigaon police station alleging that his daughter took the extreme step after the video clip went viral.

The matter came to the fore after a villager showed the video to the father of the deceased.

According to information, the girl was in a relationship with a local youth. Later, a video clip featuring their intimate moments was leaked on social media.

However, the youth has been absconding after the incident. Police suspect that he might have shot the video clip and circulated the same on social media to blackmail the girl.
