Sambalpur: A minor girl was gang raped allegedly by four persons at Kuchinda
in Sambalpur district.
According to sources, the minor girl was kidnapped by the youths when she
was going to see Makar Mela with her brother on January 15. A case
was lodged in the Mahulapali police station on January 16 in this regard.
Based on the complaint, the police started investigation into the matter and
detained one of the accused on Friday.
As per the complaint, the youths took the minor girl forcefully to a forest and
raped her.
