Minor Girl ‘Raped’ By Neighbour In Kendrapara

Kendrapara: A minor girl was allegedly raped by a youth at Rajnagar area under Pattamundai block in Kendrapara district on Friday night.

According to sources, the youth, who happens to be a neighbour, lured the girl with chocolates and took her to a secluded place, where he raped her.

The survivor later narrated the ordeal to her family members who lodged a complaint at Rajnagar police station.

Police swung into action and managed to nab the accused by carrying out raids at different places at Rajnagar and nearby areas.

Meanwhile, the villagers demanded strict action against the accused for committing the heinous crime.
