Kandhamal: Police have arrested a youth for allegedly raping a minor girl at Kotagada area in Kandhamal district.
The accused has been identified as Akhaya Badanayak. He was forwarded to court on Friday.
The survivor, a Class-VII student, told her parents about her ordeal, following which, they lodged a complaint at Kotagada police station.
Notably, eight rape cases have been reported in Kandhamal district in the last 20 days.
