Mayurbhanj: A minor girl student was found pregnant in an ashram school in Baripada, in Odisha’s Mayurbhanj district. The girl is a student of Class-VI.
She was admitted to Pandit Raghunath Murmu Government Medical College in Baripada on February 4 after she fell sick in school.
The doctors informed that she is pregnant, following which, the school headmistress lodged a police complaint.
Based on the complaint, the police started investigation and detained a boy of the same class. Further investigation into the matter is on.
