Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government on Monday effected a minor reshuffle in the IAS cadre.
According to a notification issued by the General Administration Department, 2007-batch IAS officer Sachin Ramachandra Jadhav has been posted as Director Tourism.
The 2008-Batch IAS officer, Guha Poonam Tapas Kumar, will replace him as Director-cum-Joint Secretary, ST, SC Development, Minorities and Backward Classes Welfare Development Department. The posting comes four days after she was transferred to the Panchayati Raj Department.
Similarly, 2008-batch IAS B Parameswaran has been posted as Director-cum-Joint Secretary of Drinking Water and Sanitation in Department of Panchayati Raj and Drinking Water and 2008-batch IAS Officer Brundaban Behera will replace him as Director of Land Records, Surveys and Consolidation.
The 2012-batch IAS, Smruti Ranjan Pradhan, will now serve as Director Fisheries. IAS Officer Umakanta Tripathy has been appointed Director of Panchayati Raj in Department of Panchayati Raj and Drinking Water.
