Bhubaneswar: Minor son of Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP), Special Squad, Bhubaneswar, Sanjeev Satpathy was found hanging inside a room of his government quarters late on Saturday.
According to reports, the family members found the body of the 12-year-old boy hanging from the ceiling fan in his room.
The Bhubaneswar ACP’s a Class VII student in a public school.
Following information, the ACP, who was on duty, rushed to his quarters along with a forensic team. The incident took place between 12 AM and 12.30 AM.
The body was later taken for postmortem.
The reason for the suicide of the minor boy was not immediately known.
