Miscreants Abduct Youth In Odisha Capital

Bhubaneswar: Panic gripped Delta area near CRP Square in the city, after a group of miscreants abducted a youth on Thursday evening.

According to sources, the youth was going towards Delta Square with his friend on a bike when five youths came in a car and intercepted the bike. They forcibly took him in the car.

Although some locals tried to stop them, the youths threatened to run them over.

Following information, Nayapalli police rushed to the site for an on-the-spot investigation.

Reason behind abduction of the youth was not immediately known.

Police have launched a manhunt to trace out the miscreants and informed the nearby police stations to block all entry and exit points in the city.

Till reports last came in, efforts are on to get the CCTV footage of the incident to identify the miscreants.
