Bhubaneswar: An employee of All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) here was brutally attacked by some miscreants while he was returning home from work.
According to reports, Junior Administrative Officer of AIIMS-Bhubaneswar, Praveen Kumar was returning home from the hospital on Saturday when he was stopped by some miscreants on a deserted patch of road. The miscreants snatched his gold chain and some cash that he was carrying. They attacked him a sharp weapon on the head, leaving him bleeding profusely, and fled from the spot.
A Case has been filed at Khandagiri police station, said Kumar.
