Balasore: Unidentified miscreants on Wednesday attacked the supervisor of a stone quarry in Jaleswar of Balasore district.
The miscreants also set a JCB machine, which was parked near it, on fire and fled the spot.
The victim was rescued by some locals and admitted to Baliapal hospital in the district. His condition is stated to be critical.
Quoting locals, a police officer from Baliapal police station said that some villagers of Parulia, attacked the employee as he had not paid donation during Mahashivratri celebration. Investigation into the case is on.
