Miscreants attack toll plaza staff in Balasore, decamp with Rs 60L

Balasore: A group of unidentified miscreants attacked two employees of Shergada Toll Gate in Balasore district and decamped Rs 60 lakh.

According to reports, four miscreants intercepted a car in which they were going to a bank to deposit the amount collected at the toll gate. They opened fire on one of the employees and fled after snatching the cash bag.

The victim was identified as Pradip Jadav (38). He sustained critical injuries in the attack and was admitted to the district headquarters hospital for treatment.

Meanwhile, police have started investigating the matter.
