Miscreants Barge Into School, Attack Students & Teachers In Odisha’s Nayagarh

Nayagarh: Several miscreants reportedly barged into the Machhipada Government High School in Odisha’s Nayagarh district on Friday and attacked two students and some teachers.

According to sources, around 20 miscreants stormed the school and targeted some students. The incident reportedly took place after two groups of students entered into an argument while playing football at the school playground over some past dispute.

The miscreants allegedly thrashed two students before anyone could ascertain the reason behind the attack. They also attacked the teachers who rushed to rescue the students before leaving the school premises.

The two students who sustained injuries following the attack were admitted to the District Headquarters Hospital at Nayagarh for treatment.

Following the incident, the school authorities lodged a complaint at the Sadar Police Station. Based on the complaint, police have started an investigation into the incident.
