Jeypore: A woman was allegedly gang-raped while her husband was held hostage at gunpoint at Bramhani village under Jeypore Sadar police limits.
The woman had filed an FIR at Mahila police station following which an investigation into the case has begun.
The incident allegedly occurred on Saturday following which the woman and her husband lodged a complaint with the police.
Talking to mediapersons, SDPO Arup Abhishek Behera said the victim was sent for medical examination and a case has been registered by Mahila police in this connection.
The woman’s family has sought immediate arrest of the two accused, whom they have identified.
