Cuttack: Miscreants hurled bombs near Jayashree Cinema Hall at Badambadi here on Tuesday.
However, no injury or casualty was reported.
Quoting some local residents, a police officer said, “The bombs were hurled in the area over eviction of hawkers from the bus stand. The matter is under investigation. The miscreants, who fled the spot immediately after committing the crime, will be nabbed soon.”
Earlier on August 28, bombs were hurled near Badambadi bus stand over the same issue.
As many as six such incidents have been reported in Cuttack in the last two months.
