Cuttack: A group of miscreants hurled bombs near Badambadi bus stand here on Monday night.
According to reports, the incident took place hardly 100 metres away from Badambadi police station. However, no injury or casualty was reported.
Quoting locals, police said the bombs were hurled in the area over eviction of hawkers from the bus stand.
On July 20, two motorcycle-borne assailants hurled bombs at Cuttack Municipal Corporation (CMC) deputy mayor Ajay Barik’s residence near Palamandap in Badambadi colony allegedly over the same issue.
A total of four bomb hurling incidents have been reported in Cuttack in the last four months.
