Miscreants Loot Businessman At Gunpoint From Bank Premises In Odisha’s Cuttack

Cuttack: Three miscreants looted Rs 1.5 lakh from a businessman at gunpoint from the premises of a bank in the district on Saturday.

According to sources, the miscreants came on a motorcycle and two of them wearing masks went inside Canara Bank branch at Godibanda in Athgarh. Armed with a gun, they threatened the bank staff and customers present there.

The miscreants looted a businessman who had come to deposit Rs 1.5 lakh in the bank and fled. Later, the bank authorities filed a complaint at Kanpur police station.

The police went to the bank for investigation and recorded the versions of eyewitnesses. They also the CCTV footages to identify the miscreants, the sources said.
