Balasore: Unidentified miscreants broke open an ATM machine at Chandi Market Complex of Santaragadia Tala Bazaar in Balasore district late on Thursday and looted cash from it.
According to sources, a gas cutter was used to break the machine. The amount of cash stolen is yet to be ascertained.
Locals spotted the vandalised kiosk this morning and informed police.
Police reached the spot and examined the CCTV cameras. Further investigation is on.
On December 4, a similar loot was reported near Pakhar Chhak on Soro-Anantapur road in the district.
In May, miscreants had looted Rs 36 lakh by breaking open two ATMs on a single night in Balasore town.
