Miscreants Loot Cash, Mobile Phones At Gunpoint From Truck Drivers

Bonai: Police is on the lookout of the miscreants for looting cash worth over lakhs and mobile phones from the drivers on a ghat road in Odisha’s Sundargarh district late on Monday night.

Sources said, a gang of miscreants detained 20 trucks on Chuna Ghat Road under Kalta police station limits in Bonai sub-division by laying boulders and stone chips at a place on the ghat road.

Later, they looted cash worth over lakhs and mobile phones from the drivers and fled the area.

Following information, police rushed to the spot and cleared the tracks.
