Bhubaneswar: Miscreants looted Rs 1.41 lakh in cash from an employee of a private company at Balipatna in the city on Monday.
The victim, Rajesh Kumar, is an employee of Sai Trade Link at Jharpada.
According to sources, the incident took place when Rajesh was returning from Balakati after collecting cash from a businessman.
Two unidentified miscreants on a two wheeler accosted Rajesh and fled with the money after threatening him with a knife.
On being informed, Balipatna police station IIC Radhakant Sahoo reached the spot and started an investigation.
