Soro: A criminal gang looted cash and ornaments from a ragpicker’s shop near the market in Bahanaga area of Soro block in Odisha’s Balasore district late on Saturday night.
Sources said 5-6 armed criminals, wearing masks, barged into a ragpicker’s shop and thrashed the owner, Harendra Pradhan. They then looted gold ornaments and cash worth Rs 15,000 at gunpoint.
Following a complaint, Soro police have begun investigations.
