Miscreants loot Rs 1.3 lakh from headmaster at Daringbadi

Kandhamal: Unidentified miscreants looted cash to the tune of Rs 1.3 lakh from a headmaster at Daringbadi bazaar in Kandhamal district on Wednesday evening.
Brahma Kumari Behera, headmaster of Partamaha Sevashram School, had gone to shop at a nearby market. He had kept the cash in the dickey of his motorcycle. Miscreants broke the dickey and decamped with the money.
On being informed about the loot, police rushed to the spot and started investigation into the matter.
