Mayurbhanj: Unidentified miscreants allegedly attacked two brothers and looted Rs 2.5 lakh from them at Karanjia in Mayurbhanj district on Saturday night.
According to sources, the incident took place when Sukumar Bhol and his brother were returning home late in the night. The miscreants allegedly attacked them and decamped a bag, containing Rs 2.5 lakh, at Karanjia.
On being informed, police reached the spot and sent the injured brothers to a nearby hospital.
Police have started investigation into the matter.
