Kendrapada: Two persons allegedly looted around Rs 5 lakh from an agent of a poultry farm in Odisha’s Kendrapada district on Monday.
As per reports, Alam Giri works as agent of the poultry farm, Sona Traders, located in Haladia village under Kendrapada Sadar police station. He has been assigned the work of collecting money from the traders who procure broiler chickens from the company.
While he was coming to his office after collecting cash from different places, the two miscreants came on a bike and pushed him near Bhatabag mango orchard. As Alam fell on the ground, they snatched the cash bag and fled. The entire incident has been captured in nearby CCTV camera.
As Alam was injured in the incident, the locals admitted him in the hospital. Later, Alam filed a complaint at Sadar police station. The police have registered a case and started investigation.
