Puri: Unidentified miscreants looted cash worth over Rs 50 lakh from JBS Aquatic Prawn Hatchery located near Naba, under Krushnaprasad block in Puri district.
The incident took place late on Thursday when a group of armed men barged into the hatchery, held the staff at gun point and decamped with the money.
Receiving complaint regarding the loot from the hatchery owner, a police team reached the spot and started investigation.
“No arrests have so far been made. We have launched a manhunt to identify and nab the looters”, a police officer said.
