Bhawanipatna: A group of five miscreants allegedly looted Rs 8 lakh from three cattle traders at Terenam Ghati in Kalahandi district on Friday.
According to sources, the incident took place when the businessmen were returning to Dharagarh from Kalyansinghpur area of Rayagada district. Five armed motorcycle-borne miscreants intercepted their car and fled with the cash.
The trio lodged a complaint with the local police station. Police are conducting raids at different places of the district in search of the culprits.
