Bhubaneswar: Panic gripped the state capital when a group of miscreants opened fire near CRPF Square flyover on Monday night.
Nayapalli police rushed to the spot and recovered a motorcycle and two empty bullet shells. No injury or casualty was reported in the incident, which is being suspected to be the fallout of a violent clash between two groups over past rivalry.
On Sunday, a youth was shot at by two bike-borne assailants when he resisted a chain snatching attempt on his wife at Sijua on the outskirts of the city.
