Bhubaneswar: At least five miscreants allegedly ransacked a liquor shop in Bhubaneswar on Sunday night demanding alcohol bottles free of cost, the police said.
The incident was reported from Laxmi Sagar area of the city where five youths barged into a liquor store and attempted extortion.
While the commotion was captured on CCTV, police said, the store staff were manhandled and glass items were damaged.
After around 15 minutes of ruckus inside the shop, the youths were chased down out by the employees at the shop.
Laxmi Sagar police registered a complaint in this connection and has started investigation. According to police, the accused in this case have been identified and will be nabbed soon.
