Balasore: A group of unidentified miscreants looted cash from the ATM of Bank of India, before setting it on fire at Uttereswar market in Soro of Balasore district on Wednesday night.
The fire was noticed by a police patrol team, which immediately alerted the local fire brigade.
However, the exact amount of cash looted from the machine is yet to be ascertained, a bank official said.
Police have begun an investigation into the matter and launched a manhunt to nab the looters.
