Miscreants Set Fire To ATM After Failing To Loot In Odisha’s Mayurbhanj

Udala: Some unidentified miscreants set fire to an ATM, here after failing to loot cash from inside the chest.

According to sources, the miscreants tried to cut the chest containing the cash in the ATM of State Bank of India on Udala College Road in the town under Mayurbhanj district with a gas cutter but failed on Monday night.

Later, they set fire to the ATM as a police patrolling vehicle came on the road and fled. On being informed, Fire personnel rushed to the spot and extinguished the fire.

Police have seized the gas cylinder and the cutter from the spot and launched investigation.
