Mohana: Unidentified miscreants allegedly looted a kg of gold, 5 kg silver ornaments & Rs 70,000 in cash from a jeweller at Mohana main market in Odisha’s Gajapati district on Wednesday night.
According to sources, the incident took place when owner of Srihari Jewellers, B Mohan Rao, was shutting down his shop around 10 pm last night. Two bike-borne miscreants reached the spot and decamped with a bag, containing the valuables.
Rao has lodged a complaint with regards to the loot with Mohana police, which launched an investigation and examining nearby CCTV cameras to identify the culprits.
