Miscreants steal Rs 50k from hardware shop in Koraput

Koraput: Unidentified miscreants looted cash to the tune of Rs 50,000 from a hardware shop on Semiliguda Road in Koraput district on Wednesday night.

According to reports, Prakash Mohanty found the shutter open when he reached the shop this morning and the cash box was empty.

Based on a complaint lodged by the victim at Sunabeda police station, police reached the spot and started investigation. “The criminals also damaged the CCTV cameras installed in the shop,” a police officer said.
